چکیده

Abstract In vitro culture techniques are recognized as efficient strategies for large-scale plant production, well providing alternatives conservation. this study the micropropagation of Tarenaya rosea was established using petiole and foliar blade segments cultivated on MS medium with 6-benzyladenine (BA) and/or 6-furfurylaminopurine (KIN). The regeneration rate from explants evaluated after 30-days in culture, proliferation explant-derived shoots, reached four subcultures performed at culture. propagation occurred by both direct (DO) indirect (IO) organogenesis. highest rates DO (50% to 100%) were media containing only BA, while morphogenic calluses mainly formed BA+KIN. Explants BA showed presence small black nodules their surface, histological analysis revealed trichomes anthocyanin content. Elongation rooting growth regulator-free MS. Acclimatization around 80% achieved vitro-regenerated plants successfully maintained under field conditions. Results show significant morphogenetic potential T. leaf explants, when 4.4 µM a new alternative source material biotechnological conservation studies.

Micropropagation of Echinacea angustifolia, E. pallida, and E. purpurea from Stem and Seed Explants

Micropropagation of three Echinacea species, E. angustifolia DC., E. pallida Nutt., and E. purpurea Moench., was investigated as a potential means of germplasm preservation of species faced with overcollection in the wild and rapid clonal propagation of elite individuals with unique medicinal or ornamental properties. Very high contamination rates occurred with shoot-tip explants but not with n...

Indirect shoot organogenesis from leaf explants of Adhatoda vasica Nees

A novel protocol for indirect shoot organogenesis of Adhatoda vasica was developed using petiole explants derived from mature shrubby plants. Media with concentrations of cytokinins in combination with auxins were used to induce callus formation in two explants types: petiole and leaf segment. The frequency of callus formation from petiole and leaf segment explants on Murashige and Skoog (MS) b...

Effective in vitro seed germination and direct regeneration from cotyledonary leaf explants of Nitraria schoberi

Nitraria schoberi (Ghar-e-Daghin in Persian) from Zygophyllaceae (Nitrariaceae) family is considered as a wonderful exquisite plant in terms of its economical, medicinal, animal feed, significant values and also its unique characteristics of being tolerant to the soil salinity, drought and erosion. On the other hand, this plant is challenging with severe problems such as seed dormancy, plant gr...

In vitro shoot organogenesis from Eucalyptus sp. leaf explants

Background In vitro organogenesis is one of the key techniques associated with genetic transformation, as it determines the successful regeneration of transgenic plants after co-cultivation with bacteria. Therefore, the development of efficient regeneration protocols is the most critical step in developing genetic transformation. Protocols have been developed for several species of eucalyptus. ...

Micropropagation of Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum L.) from different explants to flowering onset . Fatemeh Rezaee, Faezeh Ghanati* and Laleh Yusefzadeh Boroujeni

Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum L.) is a very popular, ornamental plant. Due to low germination of its seeds, usual techniques for its propagation are not efficient. The present study was aimed to establish callus from explants of different plant parts of Eustoma grandiflorum L. Raf Shinners in B5, LS and MS media with modifications.  The results showed that among different plant parts, leaf e...
